Intro

Hi! Welcome to my personal website!
Here, I'm sure you'll discover a more authentic and vibrant me.
Applied mathematics has nothing to do with education, doesn't it?
But somehow, I get the best of both worlds, as I found their common trait: the use of rationality to influence the world.
Applying mathematical wisdom, I developed a prototype green navigation app, solved the mystery inside the new ticket gates, and unraveled the principles behind billiard dynamics.
Using the logic of writing, I wrote many in-depth articles on education, became a featured writer for an influential media outlet, and received over 50,000 online views.
Listen to my story and see how I changed the world with rationality!
APP Developer
GreenwayShanghai: a well-constructed, user-friendly, green travelling app prototype
Born in Shanghai, I am fascinated by its powerful transportation system and often use it to travel inside the city. However, whenever I used the navigation app, I found it lacked support for green travel and was not user-friendly enough. This drove me to reinvent the app and create GreenwayShanghai by applying mathematics and the open-source UI framework Flutter.

Quantify users' achievements in emissions reduction and motivate users to reduce carbon emissions in the long term.
Applied Mathematician
Observe the world with a rational mindset.
Those always-open ticket gates made me wonder about their effectiveness, "Can I apply math modelling to verify that?" This curiosity eventually led to a research project that deepened my understanding of the urban transportation system.
On the battlefields of billiards, what changes is the position of balls, but what remains unchanged are the mathematical and physical theories behind it. Intrigued, I integrated mathematical methods into my physics research and sought to uncover those underlying principles.

Impact of implementing “always-open ticket gates” in Shanghai subway stations on overall passing efficiency analyzed by queuing model
Project Rating: A+
This study examines the impact of implementing these gates on overall passenger flow efficiency through a queuing model, on-site observations, and online data sources. The findings indicate that “always-open” ticket gates significantly reduce average waiting times and have a greater impact at station exits than at entrances.

How do different cue tip offsets influence the change in angle during a masse shot?
EE Rating: A
This research investigates the curved trajectory of a masse shot in billiards and confirms that the trajectory angle is directly proportional to cue tip offset, effectively addressing the research question.

The quantitative relationship between the collision angle and the velocity of the target ball after the collision of two billiards
IA Rating: 22/24
This research explores the relationship between the collision angle and the velocity of the target ball in snooker and confirms that the target ball’s velocity is inversely related to the collision angle.
Educator
Warm the world with cold rationality.
